Nation’s Largest Indie Gospel Distributor
Central Soul Distribution Annual R.E.A.C.H. AWARDS
Recently Awarded The Williams Brothers A Lifetime Achievement Award

Nashville, TN -- Central South Distribution, the country’s leading independent gospel distributor, recently held its 5th annual Distribution Showcase and R.E.A.C.H. Awards (Radio Everywhere Announcing Christ is Here). Held at the Two Rivers Baptist Church in Nashville (across from the Opryland Hotel), the evening kicked off with star-studded red carpet arrivals and Hollywood-style fanfare.

The most buzz of the night occurred when the Williams Brothers, who recently signed with CSD and released the hit CD “The Journey Continues”, were honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award for their 45 years in the music industry. Young gospel artists such as Lowell Pye, Jerard Woods and Jason Nelson brought down the house with their interpretations of Williams Brothers classics such as “God Will Deliver” and “Sweep Around.”

Aside from that spectacle, the evening was filled with homage for radio announcers and retail executives. Sheila Lee, a radio announcer with WRVS 89.9 FM in North Carolina, was presented with a R.E.A.C.H. award by radio announcer Ace Alexander (of the Light Network) and Terry Woods, Director of Distribution for Central South. The evening was filled with great performances by Central South-distributed artists such as Monique Walker, LeJuene Thompson, Bill Moss Jr., Carnell Murrell, Bernard Harris, Blessed, The Nevel Sisters, Scott Savol & NSRC, and many more. “It was a great event with many talented and anointed artists,” says Woods. “We were honored to recognize The Williams Brothers for their outstanding contribution to Gospel Music and we would like to thank our awesome partners Radio 1000 and www.ilovegospelmusic.com for helping put this event together.”
